About this piece
Our A5 journal is bound in undyed Belgian linen over a recycled board cover, then sewn with cotton thread in eight signatures of 24 pages. The paper is 100gsm cream wood-free stock from a small Italian mill — it takes fountain pen ink, ballpoint and pencil without ghosting on the reverse side. The flat-opening binding lets you write across the spread without the spine fighting you. A pressed cotton ribbon marker and an elastic closure finish the book. Each cover ages with the desk it lives on.
