Returns & refunds
Last updated: 1 May 2026. We give you 30 days to change your mind — fourteen by EU consumer law, plus another sixteen as a goodwill window.
The thirty-day window
You have thirty days from the day the parcel arrives to ask for a return. There is no need to give us a reason. The item must come back unused and in its original packaging — paper goods are particularly delicate, so please don't write in a journal you may want to send back.
How to start a return
- Email [email protected] with your order number and which items you'd like to return.
- We reply within one working day with a return form and the studio's return address (it's the same as our office: 14 Knyaz Boris I Boulevard, Floor 2, Studio 7, 9000 Varna).
- Pack the item in its original wrapping, slide the form inside, and post it back via Speedy, Econt or any tracked courier you prefer.
Who pays the return postage
If the item is faulty, mis-described or arrived damaged, we cover the return postage — please send us the receipt. If you simply changed your mind, the return postage is yours to pay.
How quickly we refund
We refund within 5–10 business days of receiving the parcel. Refunds go back to the same payment method you used. If you paid by card, your bank may take another two or three days to show the credit on your statement.
Faulty or damaged items
If something arrives damaged or stops working through no fault of yours within the first two years, please email us with photographs as soon as you can. We will offer a free repair, replacement or refund — your choice.
Items that can't be returned
Bottled inks that have been opened and writing sets where the pen has been inked cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons, unless they are faulty.
EU online dispute resolution
If we cannot agree on a return, EU consumers may bring a case via the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
