About this piece
Cut and oiled by a furniture maker in Veliko Tarnovo. The tray is a single piece of European walnut, hollowed by hand and sanded to a soft satin finish, then sealed with food-safe linseed oil. Felt feet underneath protect a wooden desk. Big enough for two fountain pens, a small notebook and a few clips, or one stray cup of coffee — about 22 × 14 cm and 2.4 cm deep.
